Fiddlehead Art & Science Center
A Gray, Maine children’s center offering art based programs that support the development of communication and problem solving skills through interactions and relationships with each other and materials.
Portland Sea Dogs
The Double – A affiliate baseball team of the Boston Red Sox organization; The Portland Sea Dogs are leaders in supporting youth educational programs from summer reading programs to achievement recognition programs throughout southern Maine schools.
Located on the northern end of Pleasant Mountain in Bridgton, Maine. Shawnee Peak features 245 skiable acres and is the oldest major ski area in Maine. A short forty-five minute commute from the greater Portland area, Shawnee Peak and its instructors are responsible for introducing a lifelong love of skiing and snowboarding to Maine’s youth.
Southern Maine Gearbots
Using building blocks and computer software students in grades 1 – 8 are introduced to the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.Â Leveraging rudimentary computer programming software small teams concept, build and program robots to complete specific event tasks within a two-month period.
Windham Youth Soccer Association
Offering both recreation and travel level soccer skill building and competition to the over 17,000 residents that make up the Windham, Maine community. The WYSA supports boys and girls from 4 to 18 years old at it’s Gambo Road facility.
Gorham Youth Baseball & Softball Association
This independently run organization supports a local community of children interested in baseball and softball skills building and participating in healthy competition with their peers.
Gorham, Windham and Westbrook Triad
TRIAD is a cooperative partnership between law enforcement agencies, elder service providers, and seniors in our community. The primary mission of TRIAD is to reduce the criminal victimization of older citizens, enhance the delivery of law enforcement services, and improve the quality of life for seniors.
